Can you show me a screenshot with text that is difficult to read because of the light background? I think the background of the textbox is quite dark and opaque.

There is a button in the star menu to hide the interface, this may help with the first problem. And I can add text size settings, I think the problem depends on the screen DPI, the text is perfectly readable on my phone.

I just use standart pipeline for Renpy Android builds tbh. Do you have any problems with enabled gestures on phone?

I use FLUX develop and fix images with photoshop, you can see the result on screenshots, bedroom backround, Imari cg and Ito cg are expanded with this way,
