Honestly, both interpretations are intentional. Some fragments represent different philosophical voices arguing across the simulation, but they can also be read as different moments or states within the same mind. People rarely hold one perfectly consistent philosophy, especially when confronting suffering, love, death, hope, or meaning. I left out a morality meter because I didn’t want the game to declare which voice wins. The player is meant to carry the contradictions and decide what remains useful to them. Thanks for noticing that—and for playing.
