Saw this game in the front page and was immediately intrigued. Great game with really cute and simple pixel art style. It reminds me a lot of Animal Well. The level progression and world feels really good to play in, even though i felt like some of the levels were lacking a purpose. 

I think the leaf collection system at the end of each level adds a layer of richness that provides an extra feel-good to the completion of the level. The path to the top does so as well.

I'd like to take a look at the fantastic beginning of the game. The main mechanics are perfectly shown in a small room, where the movement, jump and dash are instantly understood, and immediately feel good to play around with. So is the core loop of every level, and the overall objective of the game. As soon as you collect that first leaf, and see it appear in the upper vine, it's clear what the game is going to be about.

I really liked the map implementation, it helped me from getting lost on which rooms i had still to complete. The squared layout of the whole map makes it a bit confusing to traverse the rooms, as they all become the same in some way, even though each room is different. Also I think some of the levels could have explored more mechanical depth in the dash, or have different patterns of movement to try. Anyways, the levels are really well done overall and enjoyed completing them

Finished the game in 40 minutes, and was left with a feeling of wanting more, and I think that is quite a tell into how great of a game this is!! :D

Muy interesante el concepto del juego!! Muy bonito y la historia está bien contada y lograda en la duración del juego :)

Really interesting concept. It feels good realizing the correct way to one shot the enemies, which overall makes sense because of the intelligent enemy design.  I would add though that some enemies' faces or design make them feel pretty dumb and harmless (with those kind of silly faces).

Got a max score of 16 after playing for around 5 to 10 minutes. 

The concept is pretty straightforward and catchy, making it easy to jump in immediately knowing what's going on and what i'm going to find.

The art is incredibly fantastic. The concept of the game is great too; loved the hats on the snowballs giving them powers! And oh man that theme is sooo catchy. Definitely one of the best games from this jam

Whiteout is one of The best games i've played from the jam so far. The design of this game is amazing; The tension, the feeling of being overwhelmed are there, all packed in such a simple-looking, fast-played, well executed game. Great art and music as well. Spectacular job!

Edit (after reading the comments): The flashlight and the light/shadow combination is so so good, playing it with only two colours

I did feel lost with this map-repeating mechanic. I liked the atmospheric aspects like the snow and the background snow sound. Great job! I just wished there was more to play :)

Really liked the general theme the game tries to follow; that feeling of being lost in the woods and the danger it poses. I agree with xavire that even some simple sfx would have helped a lot. 

I want to add that giving yourself some time to polish and make sure that everything is working correctly, even though some mechanics are left behind for that, would have made the game much more enjoyable.

Either way, nice job!!
