My God, this is beautiful, in the most twisted way.

An ideal started to take root in Noriko's mind very early in her life, warping her thoughts and making her throw away her values and humanity, making her harm others physically and psychologically, and ultimately culminating in self-mutilation  in her quest to turn (more like force) this ideal into reality.

What a beautifully written, bile-inducing, tragic story this is. With a gorgeous cover to boot.

A couple played out their fantasy—with plenty of open communication, planning, assurances, and explicit consent between them beforehand. The aftercare was my favorite part, because a lot of people don't think much of it, and is a very underrated part of sex.

Dystopian, yet recalls elements of classic gothic horror. Gorgeous. Haunting.

This story really grabbed me by the throat and choked me until I caould almost see the light. Now I must read everything Aiden has written and will write.

This scares me. The depiction of loneliness is way too real. God, I need to get offline and start making real friends, lest i fall into this scenario.
