Awesome work!

This is incredible!

An interesting adventure with a curious and well-defined premise. The background or lore of this little one-shot is interesting and opens up options for multiple connected stories or encounters. I like the idea of an association in charge of dealing with magical anomalies or dangerous entities. On the other hand, the option to use pre-designed characters, while great as an optional feature, feels a bit forced and the adventure doesn't seem to progress as smoothly without the designed characters.

Despite that, it has a theatrical and gothic atmosphere that I appreciate and enjoy, and of course, a great and fantastic presentation, writing and organization that make the encounters quite unique. The adventure feels shorter than it looks from a DM's POV, due to the fact that half of the PDF is background or characters, but still this helps a lot, although it could be a bit more interesting on the adventure side of things. The encounters are decent and well paced, and the NPCs, despite being few, do what they should well. Perhaps my biggest gripe is that I feel it's a bit restrictive, and at times rail-roading, but that's just nitpicking on my part. I enjoyed this one-shot and I think it has a good entry level for mid-experienced DMs.

A solid adventure in my opinion (as a newbie DM) with a good design, engaging story and great hook. I would like to see more.

PS: Thanks a lot for making this Printer Friendly! I have a way better experience reading stuff on my hand than on my PC.
