I don't know what mods there are but the base game has a method of lowering world difficulty. while in town, one of the random events is a priest and if you approach him and donate items to him, he'll lower the world difficulty. up to 10 levels per event. 

Ok this definitely has me interested. It's got a few things i don';t like but the interesting parts seems to massively outweigh those. i'll have to wait until my bank account updates so i know how much money i can safely spend and i'm too lazy to just math it out. 

If this has pregnancy with things like abortion or miscarriage, I think that would be really interesting

I knew this game looked familiar, it used to be on steam but I never got around to downloading it and now when i check, it's removed from steam. Why?
