Specifically, follow links to download vcredist_x86.exe (the 32 bit one) on the microsoft download site for Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio YYYY.
Running the vcredist_x86.exe after downloading will install the missing DLLs; you don't have to find and paste the specific DLL into the game folder

Great art and the graphics and attack animations fit really well.
Two things to improve:
on Windows I can't see the mouse cursor on menus in full screen
When using wasd to walk between map sections, you have to release and press the move key again.  Would be smoother if you check for depressed key on map tile entrance too

Looking forward to seeing the full game and gallery! ;-)

If you choose to implement this, please make it toggleable.  Not everyone is into this

Is there a missing folder?

The game opens a short splash screen, then closes.

OpenBorLog says "Error loading level list from data/levels.txt" but there is no data folder in the extracted folder.

I can't interact with the girl past the training dummies.  Should there be a talk option?
I'm running the demo, but only able to collect cloth so far.

Another thing that would make the game easier to play would be scaling the maps to fit the screen size.  The maps are nice and high-res, so shrinking them a little bit would look good, and be more convenient.  Then you wouldn't have to drag around to find the right sites for bonding or resources.

Both exist in the game.  I found them by breeding different types, not finding them in the wild

Master Nono, would you consider moving the "Rest" option to the main screen instead of the hut menu?  That would save a lot of repetitive clicking.
Love the game :)
