great concept, very meta, and felt very accurate haha! lots of fun

Neat! i found i was spending all my time looking at the right hand side, which was a bit of a shame. maybe the info displayed there can be more central. but the concept was nice :)

Really cool concept, i loved the idea of building a ship, really cool that you managed to implement that. and needing to build it in a time limit was intense! (as others mentiioned, maybe a bit too intense haha)

the controls didn't work for me in the travel phase unfortunately (could only move forward but not side to side). still really cool concept though, would love to see it develop further

We also used deepfold space generator art in our game!

Really cool concept, loved how you had to counterintuitively take hits. was a difficult thing to balance but it was really enjoyable!

Wow the art and audio in this game was amazing, the little delivery dino was so cute!

Hands down my favourite game i tried so far. This was exactly the style of game i love. I thought the theme and flavor was so good, the ambient music fit really well and the visuals were so appealing and crisp. really great job!

This was a really cohesive game! The music, sounds, artwork and concept all came together really well

fun and weird concept! i thought it was really cool how you could trade remaining time for upgrades, that was a really difficult decision to make!

The retro style was great, and you used the 1 bit asset/palette really nicely. also the combo attacks was a cool throwback, nice work!

Really cosy, nice work on the artwork, the turtle looked really cool!

it was great for the theme, wanting to protect the baby turtle was surprisingly intense for what seemed like a chill game on the surface.

also speeding up in the water was a fun feature

On level 2 i somehow escaped out the top into a blue zone that never ended, wasn't the sea, just a void of some sort :D

Loved the story and bopping soundtrack :) found it a bit difficult to control and as others mentioned it was a bit annoying to click through the tutorial every time i died (which happened a lot lol). Really nice execution of the idea though

Fun game, nice work!

I really liked the procedural generation / randomness of the item drops and the lasers.

I think it was a bit repetitive, probably it could get harder of have new obstacles as the game progressed, but i thought this was great work for a jam.

I also really liked the "riskiest moment" stat on the win screen, that was a nice touch!

Fun! solving the puzzles under time pressure was intense!

We'll remember that! ;) haha but thanks a lot

Thank you so much! We're excited to see what we could do with it further

Thank you so much for the kind feedback! Yep we had a lot of fun ourselves with the orbiting and trying to "slingshot" to grab the resources all in one swoop :D

Thank you for the kind words :) it was our first time to try pixel art at such a large scale

Haha we didn't realise it at the time, but now you mention it, yep! :D

Thank you so much for the feedback and kind words :) Yep for sure the controls take a bit of time to get used to :D

Thanks for the feedback and the tip, we'll hopefully expand the project further so we'll make sure to look into that :)

Thank you very much!

Thank you so much for the really kind words, glad you enjoyed!

really neat visuals, i struggled a lot with hitting the beat but the concept was cool!

Really cool first project!

Sometimes it was frustrating when i was reloading and a rock fell on my face. other times i got a clutch save in the nick of time which felt really good! Overall lots of fun

The main game loop is really nice, did you have any other ideas of further things to add?

If you like space theme, check out our game!:

Very polished game. started really chill and before i knew it i was being overrun!

I especially liked the tech tree implementation and the hext 2.5d style

fun theme, and cute character! the blob noises were really fun. reminded me of flash games, i struggled a lot with the controls tbh but overall enjoyed!

hello from a fellow admirer of all things oxygen!

really liked the idea that you are playing as a robot who doesn't need the oxygen itself, but is working against the clock to help others.

The art style, especially in the cutscenes, was amazing!

Hello from a fellow oxygen fan!

really cool to see how you did all of this as a solo dev! I really liked the art style and colours (or lack of).

the controls were super difficult to begin with, i think i failed 6 times before getting to level 3.

but once you got the hang of it it really gave space physics drifting vibes. felt very helpless as the poor spaceman. really cool!

hello from a fellow oxygen-breather!

fun theme, the titan cave was cool. i couldn't get very far, need to try again.

hello from a fellow oxygen-brainer!

cool concept, and unusual theme :D the murky water and blackout visuals were really cool!

I got a score of 30, couldn't find any algae any further before i needed to return for air 🤔

really fun idea, and dodging the moving sun was a fun challenge!

I struggled with the gameplay but the idea was relatable haha! fun concept and art!

I struggled with the gameplay but the idea was relatable haha! fun concept and art!

it was quite difficult to understand what to do without tutorial, i also haven't played balantro before so i wasn't familiar with the mechanic. but once i got the hang of it it was really fun! loved the art style

Very cool, and i liked the color scheme. i got a high score of 17 on regular mode is that good? 🤔

Very fun, but very difficult , i didn't get past the skeletons :D

Fun puzzles and cute art, nice work!

really cosy theme!

really nice concept, clever mechanics and smooth gameplay, great job!

spooky! and cosy
