fun game! unfortunately, i accidentally misclicked the "Quit Game" button, promptly resetting all of my progress. i do not feel the motivation to redo everything.
that being said, the game itself requires a lot of kinda guess-y, albeit somewhat sensical logic. would be impossible without the verification system. 3/5

I've only just begun act 2, but so far, I'm blown away. Intelligent puzzle mechanics that aren't too complicated but feel amazing when solved (very hard to achieve but so satisfying when done right!). Something as simple as the naming scheme for files goes from a mystery to a key tool for solving.
As someone who has never played any of the games this is inspired by, this game makes me really want to try them. Cannot recommend this enough, and I cannot believe I get to play this for free.

this is both the single most comically meta and confusingly difficult video game i've ever had the brain-destroying pleasure of playing. multiple unique mechanics that actually work really well together make this a unique kind of hell. also, this game's humor is genuinely hilarious. 9.5/10, i'd give it a 10 if i hadn't softlocked myself like 3 times lol (although there may have been a way out i didn't find)
thanks for replying so quick! i found it, and beat the game (finally lol). super cool concept, and as pretty much everyone else has said, the qr codes are super original! the whole thing: the art, the music, the mechanics and the codes make for a game that really stands out from the rest. severely underrated. thanks again for the tip!
