Ooh! Excited for RaptRogue! Didn't get very far in the old version, but I very much enjoyed what I played.
You're very good at writing comfy scenes/characters. More of that would be a perfect fit for this little project! Best of luck!

Bought it on Steam, played for an hour, refunded it.
Game has metaprogression in the form of Gold (Lewdas). You can find 50 G on the ground, you get 100 for finding a passcode fragment, a couple hundred in chests, I got a whole 1 000 in a locked chest!
Level ups start about 100 G and go up by 100 each level.
Level ups give +1 point in any of your 4 stats.
You start with 12 points in each stat.
The first relic I found (also in a locked chest) cost over 10 000 G to unlock.
As early as in the tutorial, I was getting caught by hunters (or camera drones) hidden in bushes.
In my first run I cot caught out by the "drone apporaching"... Event? (It happens semi-predictably it's not as special as it sounds.)
The second time it happened I hid in a bush (that possibly hid a hunter, I had no way of knowing) and still got caught.
Third time it happened I was in a building and I hid in a corner and stayed pu until the notification went away. So I'm safe in buildings, that's nice.
Fourth time if happened I was in the middle of a room with no buildings.
Also all items are consumed upon pickup including ones that have only detrimental effects like the twerky jerky.
And you can't see what an item is until you pick it up. They're just generic stars on the ground (kinda like in pokemon where every item looks like a pokeball).
Sometimes the item is a potion that transforms you for, like 10 seconds, which is Not enough time to make use of when you don't know what that sparkle on the ground is until you've already drunk the potion.
And sometimes the item is a snare trap.
And also there can be traps in chests. Even the locked chests where the good stuff is.
And chest traps can sometimes damage you the same way a hunter catching you does.
And there can be traps on the ground that you trigger every time you walk over them.
First character had 2 damage states, 3 transformation states, and a loss scene. And it really felt like that was it. That was everything.
There weren't different endings for getting caught by a hunter or by a drone event, there weren't different animations for getting caught while transformed.
No idea how to unlock the other two characters and frankly it doesn't feel worth it.
I don't care how good the lewds are, the game is too repetitive and boring and frustrating. The juice ain't worth the squeeze.
Cow time!
I also have grown to love X2's unmitigated gremlin energy. But if her story's wrapped up and throwing X2 into another wacky porn plot doesn't make sense given the Lore™, then... Don't. It's fine. I have no doubt the next alien (and their team) is(/are) going to be just as lovable!
After all, X2's job is being a momma, and she's not gonna be around all the time to feed her many, many offspring.
So if another quirky alien babe had to carry the burden of having HUGE- *ahem* - "supplying additional nutrition to the next generation of her species", well, I'd love to meet her!And then you could draw her and X2 interacting.
