I love the update!!! The dithering is fantastic, and the addition of the character at the end and the dialogue really ties it together. It would be super cool if you were able to add more levels and continue the story someday :).

I really like the textures, the lighting, and the sound design! It all feels very safe and comforting in a way, so I'm not very fearful of venturing into the dark and instead more curious. If you wanted I think a fun thing to add would be some particles that mimicked fireflies, just to add another touch to the ambience. :)

First jump is way better! The instructions in the description helped a lot as well. After going a few times the movement starts to get easier and feels more fluid. The differing textures help a lot as well for knowing what can be used for wall-jumps, and directing where to go.

The environment is designed so well! I was very unnerved exploring it, and kept waiting for something to jump out at me. I like that there is so much sound design and ambience, and the textures all go very nicely together! I think the mouse sensitivity could be upped just a tiny bit.

Playing as the ant is really interesting! I like that there are the strong arms and the climbing ones. It seems like when I played I could only climb the first red wall though, are the other objects supposed to be climbable? I also agree that it should be easier to move the sugar cubes, or you can have them disappear on contact and add a point counter.

First jump is too high / too far for the beginning of the game. Should also have more clarifying instructions on the different combos for a dash vs slide.

Love the visuals! Knocking stuff off the shelves is very fun.

Jump could be a little less floaty (fb from Gerry and Tuan)

I also think this game is sooooo cute! I agree that the ending is a little tight collisions wise, and could be spread out a little more. You could also use separate layers to split up what collides with what; so then you could make an invisible "track" for the ghost to follow along so they don't fade through the floor. There are also some tutorials online if you wanted to have platforms that the player can jump up onto from below like in Mario, which could make the vertical climbing a bit easier. Great job though! The player's movements feel great.

I like the idea of exploring different worlds with different mini games and creatures! The world building is pretty cool, and the art that is there feels cohesive. There are a lot of little things to fix, like making the inventory easier to understand as right now it only displays numbers and it's confusing as to what I am carrying. Also fixing the ship and making it so that you can enter it again and go to a different world. Otherwise it's a cool idea! (The fishing game also reminds me of club penguin's ice fishing game which I love)

I like that you already have endings planned and that the player does have consequences for pushing too far! Also I noticed that if you don't do an action (like looking around) then you can't select options later (like grabbing the tree roots), nice touch!

I like where this is going, and I feel like using abe's code for the visual novel style would work really well with this!

It's nice how many options you have for the player! It'll be cool to see how the different paths may overlap as you develop it further. Adding some transitions to the text when the narrator is talking to the player may be cool as well!

I love the art style!!! It’s very cute and endearing. Maybe you could implement an inventory system, and we can only hold three things in our bag? And then maybe these objects can be helpful later down the road in the story (like when we encounter the alley cat). I can’t wait to see it finished!
