man, that was a wild cliffhanger for just the first part - really well polished too. It did admittedly feel a little rushed plot-wise - but since that's kind of necessary to establish everything that's hardly an issue.

It is also interesting to guess the powerscaling. Even lesser vampires are clearly quite a bit stronger than humans, and even all sealed up the MC beats them handily. It's unclear how strong Purebloods are other than "current MC doesn't stand a chance".

Definitely interesting, though at least so far the framing seems excessive - the story is interesting enough on it's own and adding another layer on top with all the stage play stuff seems unnecessary (though I do quite like theater) - I am fully ready to eat my words if later on this results in some fun twists.

One big thought going through my mind after the prologue, is that bit where Dice seems to imply that Calm isn't actually calmness but some other personality fragment. Then the question is, what actually IS Calm?

I have the energy, I do the tea scene with Alex - but her story stays at 0/10 progression and none of the other locations unlock - and when I enter her room again it's just the same scene again.

Really solid start, I will say that I think a slightly more detailed 'Tome of Insight' would be helpful with remembering all the characters and lore though.

The first part of the Alex story isn't progressing.

Did you just start off your review with a Ratatouille reference?
