The game is pretty much dead... It’s a shame, because the storyline is good.

But since nothing has happened here for nearly a year, it’s safe to assume that development has stalled for good.

Unfortunately, that’s the case with many titles. Maybe they made enough money? Or perhaps they just lost interest? After all—as I mentioned—you often don't even get a response from the developers anymore. That’s why I don’t buy games until they’re completely finished...

Absolutely nothing has happened here for two years.
Unfortunately, this is common with many of these games: They start off well and attract lots of sponsors. But at some point, presumably when enough money is coming in regularly, there's obviously no longer any incentive to see the story through to a conclusion...

Not really...

I'm not a native English speaker, but if you say that each part is a separate game and therefore I have to create multiple physical folders for each part, even though, according to your statement, I can import the save game from 1 & 2 into 3, then that doesn't make sense to me...

All games of this type that I've encountered so far are extracted to the same folder when a sequel (a new chapter) is released. From there, you can simply access the last save and play the update.

It seems to be different here. Unfortunately, you haven't answered exactly how or why these are three independent games with the same name.

This is what many interested parties from many countries get to see...

I just don't understand why so many people like this censorship and even support it... But to each their own...

This game, or rather its further development, is apparently dead/discontinued.

The two developers keep talking about upcoming sequels, but if I have to wait 10 years for the next update, I don't need that. Apparently, they can make a pretty good living from Patreon contributions...

According to my records, the last time I updated was on August 17, 2022, to version 0.4P4. This version hasn't changed since then, neither here nor on the Patreon page...

It's actually a shame, because the idea behind it and the story are pretty good. But these days, I've completely stopped buying these kinds of games here or even constantly making contributions to Patreon, ultimately for nothing and, over the months and years, a small fortune for nothing in return...

Unpack, overwrite, done. As usual with all these games. Must have done it a hundred times. And here, several attempts have not led to success...

Today in the morning I have download the DEMO and play it to end. Then I paid and download 0.6.3, extract it over the demo and... Nothing changed!
It's not possible to go over the end of the 0.1.1 demo; this version also will show up if I open "about" ...

And no surprises. Other decisions lead to the same result. Or have I overlooked a hidden plot twist somewhere?

My conclusion so far: Wasted money...

It is not possible to exit the explanation overlay at the end by clicking OK.

Most game developers forget that not all people are native English speakers. In addition, it is always unclear whether, as here for example, Season 1 is included in Season 2, or whether Season 1 has to be purchased separately...

Not specifying something like that is always the infamous “pig in a poke” and not buyable ...

what about a german version?

What I also don't understand is why the saves exist in two places. Once they are in C:\Users\[name]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\LeapofFaith-1574721269(-steam)\*,  a second time in (for me of course) D:\Spiele\LeapofFaith\game\saves\*

With the old versions, I was always able to copy my saved games to the latter folder without any problems. I wasn't even aware that there was another one under Roaming\RenPy\...

Can someone explain? That inevitably leads to inconsistencies... doesn't it?

I'm not the only one who thinks that other language versions would be much more widespread than a non-adult version. I can already see that here at home. My English is so-so and I can get through the game reasonably well with it. But my wife gave up after 20 minutes because of her poor knowledge of English.
Ok, of course it may be that European languages will soon no longer play a role, but as we all know, hope dies last...
In addition, the non-adult topic is quite a farce from my point of view, if already in kindergarten with the s.g. "Early sexualization" of the little ones started and GenderGaga is forced on them, naked people walk around everywhere in TV advertising, there is already popping in the afternoon program that it just cracks and quite openly condoms, dildos, vibrators, sex shops & Co. around the clock in the advertising you can see. In my opinion, this should not be supported by hunching over this agenda...

... nice game... but 19.5 is not playable: Toooo many errors and missing files... And an endless loop while "truth or dare" game... 

Before also sometimes there a missing files but that was rare. but 19.5 is like a "every 10th step"...
