oh this is so chilling, there's definitely something in there...amazing find

(also im in the uk so at least there's one other person in the same timeslot :p)

hi all, i've been looking at old blogs of people visiting the Joypolis locations in the pre-2001, post-1998 range, between when Uzumaki was published and when the reddit post came out, and I stumbled upon this one:

https://netanker.hatenablog.jp/entry/19990725/p1

most of these blogs are ordinary and usually detail visiting one location or another, this one the Yokohama Joypolis which had been recently refurbished, and renamed Joypolis H. Factory:

attached to the blog there was this image, and something about it seemed off, so I downloaded it.

looking at what could be pinball machines in the back, I noticed something weird about the one on the right, and zoomed in:

unsure if this spiral is related to uzumaki or if it was some other sega/stern brand machine (dreamcast promotion maybe??) but wanted to post here just in case.

the timing of the refurbishment also made me suspicious, what does everyone else think?

sorry to hear about you and your dad, families can be tough, I know from experience

like Hounskull said, if you want to share the band name, we could start looking for it, but can understand if you don't want to accidentally dox yourself or your dad

up to you, but it could give us some new leads

found a really short video of someone filming the lens of this experience. notice what the objects look like?

omg i just found out about this pinball stuff and this is so helpful im gonna start looking into some of these to catch up :D

Don't think a fed would say "Desire is the enemy of contentment." Unless they've started hiring buddhist monks LMAO

I loved this! The world build is very intriguing and the characters have a pleasing amount of nuance. Very intrigued to see where the story goes!
