What! Why would you say that, I've never put hours into hole.io or any mobile game for that matter. 🙄 😉

That's unfortunate, I had the same issue when viewing other submissions today, :(  Although I found that re-loading the page helped

I'm glad to hear the meme sounds had a good Impact

! I'm curious, what game did it remind you of?

I liked the vibes, felt very cold war soviet Russian vibes. but it could have used better visual feedback for when it's you're turn and the bottle's attack/move

Fun little game! I especially like the way the controls were communicated in the tutorial. But there is one thing that made me step away pretty fast, and it’s that the difficulty curve is way too high—and it's not just that each obstacle is too difficult.

In other games, they typically do this neat little trick where they give you a really hard obstacle that you fail on several times (which is totally okay), but once you get the hang of it, they put several easy ones right after. This trick makes the game feel less like walking up an uphill slope and more like a roller coaster, where you have moments of high difficulty followed by moments of entertainment and relief.

In CAPS OFF, I found that this pacing wasn't present enough. For example, obstacle one was easy, obstacle two was hard and I'd fail on it, but then obstacles 3 and 4 were immediately more hard ones. If the game simply had more breathing room with easier obstacles placed in-between the difficult ones, the player would feel a much greater sense of accomplishment. Great job on the jam entry!
