I’m sorry to hear that! Yeah, i’ve heard some players have that issue. I think / hope it has to do with the browser and not the computer. Will test and upload a downloadable option when I know more.

Thanks for your feedback! I will move the camera in future builds.

I’m sorry to hear that! I made it so that the camera could become more or less sensitive in the menu, if you do play again let me know if that helps!

Thank you for your feedback! I’ve gotten a couple people now saying the pixelation was a bad choice so will remove that in future builds. The camera controls as well will be fixed.  The music was originally intended to be longer but I just didn’t have time.

Ok I tried it again now that it's the end of the day and it doesn't matter if my computer has to be shut off. It worked this time! Really fun game executed pretty well! I loved trying to work with the controls even if it was a little frustrating it made it fun for me. Good job :)

HECK YEAH. this was wonderful if incredibly hectic, i enjoyed!!

SUPER FUN. I can see how much work went into this. Very fun game loop and would love to see an expanded version of this!

Really cool idea! I had (what i think was) a visual glitch where an unhappy emoji just kept growing. I couldn't tell what was wrong, the animals had all their needs and their cages were clean, and it covered most of the screen.

I think this is a really wonderful game idea! It took a while for me to understand what I was supposed to do, I do think it would've benefitted for a more complete tutorial. I had a lot of fun with it.

Hey! Not sure why, but I started your game and my computer froze so bad i couldnt even turn it off except by unplugging it from the power. I wont be able to rate it but wanted to let you know. Sorry :(

Had a really fun time playing this one both before the jam as a playtester and now too! This game has a lot of charm and I really enjoyed it.

Super sick! I loved the idea of the mouse having to wave over it instead of a standard clicker. I thought this was also super polished and enjoyable in that sense too. I had some issues with the UI scale, I had to take it out of full screen mode to be able to see anything at the top of the screen. I also would've liked to see the platform tab be renamed Build or the tutorial say to open the Platform tab instead of build mode so it was more clear what I was meant to do. Otherwise great game and I'd love to play it more!

Totally agree, I wanted to add sound effects to that to make it clearer but ran out of time. Thank you for your feedback.

Very cool concept! I will say the sanity mechanic was a little punishing, but I think this is a really cool game that I really enjoyed playing.

super cool idea! sucks that the artists dipped but i really thought the mechanics were fun. difficult for me cause im bad at games like this but that's just user error lol. thanks for sharing!

Really fun, REALLY bad at it lmao. Super cool implementation!

Very fun! Little frustrating at first cause I couldn't figure out what papers were missing. But I enjoyed it!

I knew from the discord to try to find the skip button so that wasn't as much of an issue for me. This game is really fun, charming, and has lots of personality. I genuinely enjoyed playing it and I think it's one of my favorites. But I think it's too hard, the most I ever got in my first few playthroughs was $350.

Thank you for the feedback! I agree that I needed to have fixed those issues and originally planned to make the music less repetitive, add sound effects, make the table less consistently messy, and make it more clear that the goal was to take better care of the kids while still managing to not get fired. With more time I would have, and in my next version of this game I will absolutely have that be the case.

Really cool concept but the controls were super difficult. Even when I threw it really close it didn't count.

Really cool idea! I'm terrible at platformers so I don't think it would be fair for me to rate it based on how difficult I found it. But I really like the mechanics and think this could be really cool!

Cool concept! Your instructions were a bit unclear, I thought I had to click on the ammo itself to shoot the gun. Once I figured it out, I could do it. I think with some clearer instructions or more intuitive controls this could be REALLY fun.

Super cool idea. I really like the core mechanic of mnaging your mana and agree with egg that this feels like the prototype of something much bigger. If yall work out the hiccups and add extra content / loops this could be a huge game and I for one would play the hell out of it.

Very fun! Difficult at first but once you get the strategy it's super fun to try to figure out how to manage everything.

(1 edit)

Funky fun! I really enjoyed the controls. This is gonna sound really odd but the controls were weird but in a fun way, at least to me.  Would have loved to see some sense of progression, but otherwise I liked this!

fun game! agree that the game loop is a little lacking but i do think this has a lot of potential.

Super fun game! There were a couple unclear parts (like potions having to be labeled at the desk that matches their color), but once I got how to do everything this was SUPER fun. Really frustrating but in a good way.

Yeah that's exactly what it was that got me to realize it, but it took a while to realize there was something different about the tree. Regardless though it's a really sweet game and I did enjoy it!

HAHA that's so funny, thank you! Excited to play the updated version!

This is such a sweet game. I'm always a fan of games like this, so this was a hit with me. More content and more game loops connected to the jellyfish and their needs / money and I'd buy this on steam.

Very cool concept! It was a bit simple of a game loop but I think it has potential pared with other loops, especially with the absolutely stunning art and music.

buzzzzzz

this was iconic as all hell, couldn't keep a smile off my face. well done.

so bad at this game but so fun... the struggle of my life

Ok this is addictive, definitely coming back to this one. So much fun! I'm still salty that only my worst score got saved to the leaderboard though :P After a couple of playthroughs my actual top score is 41 but my saved high score is 19

OH MY GOSH.  I loved this SO MUCH. I'm a huge fan of incremental games. I reached the goal in 393 days and loved every second of it. The mechanics were super fun to play with and it's a super unique take on incrementals imo. The visual and sound design was also SO satisfying.

This was so fun! Seriously, great execution. It was a little frustrating to learn the patterns, and I had a difficult time at first, but I got the hang of it and enjoyed it! I think if I had to pick a critique it would be that I would want to see some more sense of progression, like things changing based on past decisions, but I also know that's outside the scope of this jam considering how polished and amazing your game already was.

A really really wonderful concept executed super well. Very high marks. I literally can't think of a criticism.

Really cool concept! I liked the implementation. I struggled to play it well, and there were parts I got stuck and couldn't progress. At one point I couldn't start a new round because some campers seemed stuck but nothing fixed it and I couldn't tell where they were to send the robo dogs. That said, I do think that this is a fun game with a lot of cool aspects to lean into.

Remarkably impressive for a game made so quickly while so sick. I really like the concept and I think this has a lot of potential as an idea!
