I tried your game after your comment, and yes, our games are very similar! Something like this was actually closer to my original idea, but we went with the physics engine for assembly after integrating it. Some aspects of this game were also on my wish list but we didn't have enough time. Nice game! :3

I enjoyed the game! Here's some improvement ideas:
- Give some more visual feedback for mining, like small ores floating up to your counter
- Give some more visual and audio feedback for buying upgrades
- Add more auto drill upgrades! You could go way faster in combination with the mouse and make the game last longer

Whoa, I love pixel art games and platformers! The art style is awesome!! And the Juni reference :3
It was a bit difficult for me. Maybe the first level after the tutorial should start out a bit simpler to get used to the mechanic more before putting it to the hard test.. But I know it's very difficult to take the new player perspective as a dev :)
I'd be happy if you'd also try our game :3 (we chose pixel art too)
