I love raising sims, and this is such a fun concept!

Pearl: quit your job
Grizz: what? why?
Pearl: join my emo band

Great game, there are times I think a VN engine might have helped but overall super tightly done and fun. Burst out laughing when Grizz warded Brandon off the first time, definitely haven't found all the easter eggs yet.

I'm having a lot of emotions about this game. What an absolutely magnificent story, what a fascinating execution. The idea that you made this in 10 days (or at least the first draft) absolutely boggles me tbh.

(I've always hated the standard ending to that particular fable, too, so seeing you riff on it and try different things was really rewarding.)

I'm out of words. I'll go ending hunting later, but for now, thanks for sharing!

Came here from a Let's Play and the writing is so tight in this game, my god. The slow growth of suspense and particularly Angel and Lee's interpersonal dynamic make for a tense and engrossing plot. The simpler style for the character designs makes the rich backgrounds and interesting animations more obvious while still giving a really good idea of what the character is like. I absolutely love it.

I can see the potential! I enjoyed playing it (it gets very hypnotic and I lost several hours there lol) but it def needs some polish. Some form of map seems helpful if the world is going to get that big, for one thing. I also had a few issues trying to direct a task only to either unclick (accidentally or to do something else) or wait a long time, and viable Lil Fellas would wander around the target but not actually jump it.

Would love to see more! Kinda reminds me of Pikmin. You could capitalize on the general chill and make it more of a meditative game if that makes any sense.

The art style is great and I love the characters. The attention to detail is great too (ie the hands in front thing). It's dark yet hopeful. Was slightly surprised at the size of the age gap but intriguing anyhow..

Fun thing, if you leave the bun room with a bun on your head you won't die until you return to that room but you can't access the interact option either. Can still talk and stuff though...

It's a really interesting (and unsettling) concept! But, is there any way to turn on subtitles? The bulk of instructions are pure audio otherwise. Don't know if that was intended to make a point or if I'm just missing something....
