Hi! Today I implemented an update that lets players choose their name when starting a new game.

As for Discord, it's very likely that I'll create an official server around the time Valorie's Rebirth launches. I imagine many people will want a place to discuss the game, share their experiences, ask questions, and interact with other players.
I also believe the community can grow quite a lot once the game is finally released, so I'd love to have a proper place for everyone to gather when that time comes.
For now, I think it's still a little early for a Discord server, but it's definitely something I have in mind for the future.
And thank you again for being here and for your patience. I'm really looking forward to the day when you can finally play it!
I understand your disappointment. The game won't be completely free, but I'm considering a model similar to what the developer of Sarah's House does: a free version on itch.io that is behind the latest updates, while supporters on Patreon could get earlier access to new versions and extra content.
I want people to be able to try the game and enjoy it, but I'm still deciding the best way to handle releases and support the development. Creating a bigger 3D game takes a lot of time and resources.
Thank you for your comment! 😊
I'm honored that it reminded you of Sarah's House. It's a project I have a lot of respect for. However, Valorie's Rebirth is primarily inspired by MiSide, especially in its gameplay and the way it blends everyday life with a deeper, more mysterious story as the game progresses.
The game will be a paid title, although I haven't decided on the final price yet.
And yes! An Android version is planned alongside the Windows version.
Thank you for your interest and support!

I don't deny that my first game has a lot of flaws, and many of them are things I've tried to improve in later projects. Criticism about the writing, translation, or presentation is completely fair, and I've never claimed my games are perfect.
What bothered me was specifically the part where you implied that people who enjoyed the game are somehow emotionally unstable or lacking empathy. I don't think it's fair to generalize or insult an entire audience over fictional content they chose to engage with.
Beyond that, I genuinely do appreciate the more constructive feedback in your follow-up comment, especially regarding clearer warnings and presentation. That's something I can reflect on moving forward.
Thanks for taking the time to elaborate further.
Regards.
Thanks for the feedback.
It's a little strange to write several paragraphs acting shocked about themes that were already openly visible in the screenshots, tags, description and warnings before downloading the game. You literally acknowledge that the game “makes it clear from the beginning” what kind of story it is, so I'm not sure where the surprise is supposed to come from.
The criticism about the English translation is fair. The game was originally made by a non-native English speaker and some older dialogue definitely shows that. That's valid feedback.
But the whole “if you're emotionally balanced don't play this” speech is a bit dramatic considering you also openly admit you've played and enjoyed taboo stories before. At that point, it sounds less like moral concern and more like selective outrage because this particular game wasn't written to your taste.
Nobody was tricked into downloading it. The content was clearly labeled from the start. If the themes bothered you that much, the healthier option was probably to stop playing instead of forcing yourself through it just to write a morality manifesto afterward.
Have a nice day. Thanks for playing.
Hi, I hope you're well, I've seen you here before, thanks for your support, I'm currently in my last year of university and it's complicated to find time to advance in the new project, I've felt the support of different players for "Valorie's Life" and have no doubt that there will be more things in the future.
And who knows, maybe there will be some "Valorie's Life" stuff too.
Hi, hope you are well, sorry for taking so long to respond. I'm Check the files and I play the scene where the image you mention in the comment both in English and Spanish, there were no problems, likewise I changed the download links and now it will be a single download through Mediafire, if that does not solve your problem I do not know what else I can do.
I am a spanish speaking creator, the reason why he calls him "little brother" is because of affection, in spanish it is "hermanito" diminutive of "hermano", as in japanese "onii-chan" is used only in the form of affection, I don't have much practice in english, so to translate I must resort to other tools, that's why the translation could look rough. But, in each update I always try to improve the translations, but as it is not my native language, there will always be flaws.
If you have any recommendation, I will pay attention to it :)
