I like the art in this game, and the music is good too. To be totally honest I'm not in love with the jumping mechanic, but that's just a preference thing. I will say that the first time you have to jump up into a room I kept falling back into the room below because it wasn't clear to me that I had to jump up and to the left to land on the ledge. I would be interested in a version with a bit more polish!

<Insert footage of me waking up in a cold sweat, realizing that I did not effectively communicate that beds are save points>

Thank you for playing! I appreciate the feedback

Awesome game! I think I got to the end? I beat the Roc, but I never found the beam weapon from the screenshot, and there weren't any credits (that I saw), so I'm not sure.

It's still early in the rating period, but I suspect this will wind up being a contender for my favorite game this jam. Snod is super cute, both in the cutscene art and in his spritework. Same goes for all of the environment art. The sound design is super satisfying, both the sound effects and the music. I particularly love the plunky little song that plays in Snod's home. The controls are snappy and responsive, top tier work all around.

Short and sweet, I got all 5 flowers!

I really like the world design in this, all the art is cohesive and gives a sense of place that's alien, but believable. Really fun creature and plant designs.

I will say the jump was a bit floaty for my tastes, but I think that's my only complaint. I'd definitely be excited to see future updates!

Thank you!

Thank you for playing! The controller support was kind of last minute, haha. It should ignore mouse inputs until you move the mouse (at least I think it should ._. ) I'm glad you liked the puzzles, I had fun making them!

The concept is neat, and I like the main character's design - there's a lot of good animation on her in game sprite! It's a little hard to rate as-is but with some work this could be something really cool!

Thank you so much, your comment really made my day! I appreciate the feedback, and It's awesome to hear that you found everything!

I submitted before doing any sound work, because I thought I wouldn't have any time for it, but I did wind up doing a pass for audio polish.

Big news for slime-heads, I don't think you can call yourself a slime fan if you skip this. I thoroughly enjoyed this game! Great job on the movement, all of the abilities are fun and interesting, and they all feel great. I had a lot of fun playing around with switching ability in mid-air. I also like that the game gives you a triple jump off the bat, it emphasizes all of your different movement options.

The game could use a pass for polish. I noticed a few times where the camera limits didn't work or track my slime, and I couldn't always tell what were entrances to places until I was on top of them. Combat is also a little rough, I couldn't always tell when I was being hit vs when I was hitting other things.

None of that ever became unmanageable though. Watching your slime grow over the course of the game is super fun, too.  Great entry!

Cool game! I had a lot of fun with this one. The whip felt really satisfying, the sound you picked was on point, and I found myself just kind of standing around whipping, which is always a good sign. I like the robot's design and animation, too.

I think I wound up cheesing the first boss by getting behind it, I'm not sure if that was intentional. If I'm looking for complaints the starting movement speed was a little slow, but overall this was a good time!

Cool game! I liked the music, and the overall presentation. I thought the game did a good job of portraying a sort of off-kilter night time vibe. Even with relatively simple graphics and animation the game the atmosphere really comes across. I like leading goblins around and into fires to defeat them, and using them to destroy terrain, then disposing of them when you're done. It's a satisfying puzzle mechanic, and I think it could really have some cool depth with additional enemy types.

I couldn't figure out how to get past the brother (or even if there was a way to get past the brother) and a few times the camera got stuck looking at a room I wasn't in. That, plus the lack of checkpoints made it hard to continue, but I think you have the start of something really cool here!
