like i said, i'm not mad and i totally understand (i haven't been online very much lately but last time i saw your posts on bluesky i could see you were swamped and going through a lot of hardships)!

and while she is a werewolf and the story is heavily centered on her being a werewolf, i don't think i would have joined the jam had the faq about other were-like-creatures been written as it is now. i feel like i have overstepped a boundary or rule and have shoe horned my way into something i wasn't suppose to be apart of, which is what i wanted to avoid by asking the question in the first place. i explained my feelings not to make you feel bad or anything like that, i just felt kinda sad because before the rule change i was really pumped and excited to be apart of this is all. sometimes things don't work out and thats okay and its okay to be sad too. i accepted your apology the moment i was done reading the initial post, mistakes happen especially when you are busy and the world is falling apart! and i apology for not being a little clearer on that initially.

all that said, now it sucks that this whole jam and bundle might be up in smoke! i really hope this jam stays up and that people are still able to post their work. and i hope that you and whoever else who was going to submit for the bundle can still find a way to make and sell it.

sorry this post is so long, if you don't read or never respond i won't take it personally! i just hope we can all keep making and sharing art together

ah then i will probably leave the jam then! my story does have a were-wolf in it, and she is the "main love interest" and very prominent, but the main character is a bear and not a wolf. i do wish that the rules had been updated  before the jam started, since i told friends i'd be participating and so it'll be a little awkward next time they ask about it (not the worst thing tho! im not like really mad or anything like that just kinda let down and embarrassed).

good luck to you and everyone else! i hope this jam is a smashing hit!

yes! these are great, thank you for sharing!

if you're someone who likes to listen to music while they write i've come with two werewolf-like offerings
the gloom by cat clyde & the beast by lady gaga

anyone else got more werewolf-y beats on them?

can't believe i didn't write a review yet!
so good, love all the changes. especially excited for the perks and being able to "level up" cool guy! the face-lift to a more original style is also great to see and makes me excited to explore the whole world once it out!
treat yourself to this free demo, its charming and makes me bust a gut everytime i replay :D

i picked this little story up at a zine fest and i absolutely loved it!
re-animator, specifically the gordon/yuzna adaption(s), holds such a strong place in my heart where gender and sexuality go and i love that so many other people have felt the same while watching. in this zine herbert struggles through his feelings towards dan and of accepting that something has changed within himself.
i don't want to go into a huge analysis in the comments so i'll go off about just one thing: the colour in this zine is limited but it works. for the most part it is green, familiar and classic-its what every fan of re-animator comes in expecting. it contrasts greatly with red, the other prominent colour throughout that i feel echo herbert's uncertainty-his fear. in an early part of the zine, after preforming some surgery with dan, herbert washes the blood off his hands which transitions the colours back from red to green while herbert questions his romantic/sexual attractions. the imagery of washing away red/blood on the surface only to look at the sterile green hand and know that the same stuff very much flows through his own veins. ah! its so good!
thank you for making this and sharing it! also the art is so cute and pretty and i loved the paneling!

wow corn sausage is one year old, how time flies! its been a privileged to see the development of this game, im continually amazed by all the work and polish you've put into it. its like watching someone make a pitcher out of clay, this whole amazing process and when you think they are done they do something more to make it look even better.
anyways, happy birth cool guy! looking forward to seeing live action him on the big screen (my television)! and even more excited for the update!!

from name and title screen alone this would appear to be the world's most unappealing game, but much like any american comfort food once you take that first bite it'll be irresistible to stop until you're done. i've played through the entire main storyline, which was a nice jog around an anywhere, usa type location with fetch quests, puzzles, and good ol' turn based fighting. the dialogue ranges from silly to a quaint optimism and at times surreal or abrupt. adam's humor is rock solid, even the more juvenile humor got a chuckling along with an eye-roll.

since i've got to the credits i've moved to finding all the little whistles and bells, catching every bug along the way, and powering cool guy up until he lives up to his name-sake. i'm at about 72% with the achievements at the time of posting this review and i just want to say that so far all the extra stuff has been well worth the time.

thanks adam for making this fun little romp! i'm looking forward to yahop!
