Sad to see WadSmoosh officially going away :’(

I certainly wouldn’t be the doomer I am today without it, I certainly wouldn’t have ever cared about the Master Levels (and consequently made the Masterpack) without it, that’s for sure.

Thank you, JP, for inspiring so many of us.

It’s been a long time since I used Windows, but this article should do it.

Windows Defender can make mistake when reporting viruses, as it tends to play on the safe side. However there’s little I can do to prevent this, as the only way is to have Micrsoft-issued certificates or have a lot people report my program as safe.

On your end you’d have to go on Windows Defender and tell it my program is safe, to remove it from quarantine.

Hi matt,

This is effectively a “port” of JP’s WotM. Since WoTM was exclusive to GZDoom, and WadSmoosh, I came around to the idea of porting it to other source ports, that is to say most others, mainly near vanilla ones, such as DSDA, Woof!, and even Eternity.

It still works with GZDoom, although ironically it is the port I had more bugs initially.

It is completely standalone, you build it the same way as WS, but instead of an IWAD for GZDoom, you are building a PWAD for most source ports (at least the ones that support some form of MAPINFO). The instructions are on the GitHub page.

Best GZDoom mod, to be honest.
