They're correctly spelled but used ungrammatically or in the wrong context. Phenomena is plural, phenomenon is singular. A grievance is a complaint and has nothing to do with grieving. Proscriptive means "forbidding", which is different to prescriptive which means "imposing rules".

Looking forward to trying this! Is there any good place to report typos? In case not:
p. 20, first sentence: phenomena -> phenomenon
p. 32, grievance -> grieving
p.93, proscriptive -> prescriptive
