Ok, I've found units I talked about in the loadouts

Thank you for addressing the feedback about building icons, camera and options in the newset version. My further complaints would be: fog of war (areas that were discovered, but aren't visible at the moment) is too dark, it's hard to see anything there. Since there are on/off and sell switches for production buildings, would be nice to have icons above the buildings that show when they are off or are selling, like in city building games.
It seems that 1 raw oil node, 1 ore node, 1 metals node and 1 plastics node are anough for money to go up if you switch everything to sell, no matter how many buildings I have, I don't remember what I did the first time. Note though that inexperienced player can softlock themselves if their maintance cost is higher than everything they can sell. Can I ask what things do have a maintance cost?
Hello, I played the game for a little bit, here is my feedback
Camera default moving speed when using WASD/arrow keys feels very slow. It also gets slowed down even more when tutorial message pops up. Camera speed can be changed in settings, but if you enter tutorial and then go back to the main menu, they seem to go back to default values. Not having a way to go to settings while on the level is inconvinient. Some tutorial messages switch to the next ones without me clicking anything. If you have a timer on them, consider making it visible so the player actually knows that the tutorial message is going to disappear, otherwise he risks skipping it without knowing. The building icons in building menu aren't very readable (i.e. I don't understand what they do untilI hover over them), except for the oil rig. When I alt-tab out of the game and then return it sometimes teleports the camera to somewhere else. Tutorial seems to be very limited, I didn't understand how resources are produced.
Minor QoL features that would be nice: Sound feedback when player places a building; Range circle that shows unit range (especially useful when placing turrets); A notification when my building is destroyed.
Hey, thanks for playing. I'm a PC-only gamer and only ever used controllers in fighting games, so choosing a controller over mouse is a weird choice to me. I can probably add a controller support since I have a controller to test with, but without auto aim it would probably be very hard to play since this is basically a shooter game.
Thanks for the detailed review, I appreciate it a lot.
The characters exploration and story in general is lacking in the game, I'm not very good at this kind of thing.
Skipping progression because of just not seeing the button was a problem among other players as well, something probably could be done about it. Cars being diffucult to aim is intended, if you master it, it becomes the best ability in your arsenal because of its damage and stun capabilities.
Glad you liked the game.
Hey, this one hooked me for a bit but I couldn't use anyone but the lasso girl, with my most "efficient" strategy being the lasso spam at the right top corner of the map. The other girls just don't deal enough damage to kill anything. Maybe I missed something, please correct me.
The character cards have aliasing issues, mip maps probably can help with that
Very interesting concept. I won at second try however I still don't understand how the mana relation works and how to beat the game without inflicting any damage. Also please write somewhere that you actually need to find where all the girls are at the same time because I initially thought that I need to seal them one by one and this is why I failed my first run xd.
Good to see a fellow 3d game in this jam. Loved the chaotic cutscenes. Soviet Rangers are definitely my favorite. You also got a nice variety of gameplay modes, that's really good.
If you are planning on continuing development, here is my feedback: tutorials inside the game explaining controls and goal for each partucular gameplay mode would be nice to have. I got stuck for some time trying to get into the hatch because I didn't know I needed to turn immediately after entering while the game immediately pulls you outside if you just continuously press W. In a fight with flamethrower guy I first thought that I just needed to escape from him and spent minutes searching for the exit.
I know you are imitating PS1-era games, but oh god the scenes with static camera. It can be really annoying trying to move your character with it when you're already used to usual 3rd person camera controls from modern games (this applies to Dreams of Leaves as well). This is just my personal opinion though. Also it is diffucult to hit people with a pistol using mouse and keyboard since the game only allows to fire in 8 directions, it seems.
Overall great game, I looked forward to it since I liked Dreams of Leaves and it's narrative through cutscenes and it seems that you managed to make more content this time, very nice.
