Not sure about crypto in general being associated with the far right political movements, but the Pepecoin community has taken a firm stance to be independent from politics and to respect the creator of Pepe, Matt Furie. We welcome all people from all walks of life to join the community with their interest for Pepe.
I am also aware of the political Pepes being used by the far right politics. However those are condemned by Matt Furie himself and they do not represent the Pepe community and us in general.
Personally for this game, the Pepe I am using is Pepecoin's Pepe, which aims to align with Matt Furie's vision of Pepe. There is no political agenda behind it, and we are strict about it.
Also to avoid confusion, we are Pepecoin ($PEP) that was launched in 2024, not affiliated with the far right political coin Pepecoin ($PEPECOIN) 2016 that has since left the Layer 1 chain.
