Thank you so much for playing and for the great feedback! If it helps, I still have a hard time finding the souls and I programmed the spawn points lol... Definitely could be improved. Glad you enjoyed the game!!

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! We actually planned from the start to add the gui notebook and even had the art for it, but sadly we just ran out of time to include it for the jam. We plan on making an updated build with bug fixes and the journal after the jam voting ends!

Thank you so much for playing! Clue and Guess Who were actually the main inspirations for the game so I'm so glad you got that :)

I'd love for you to check out our game Deadtective !! We made a murder mystery game with lots of replayability! The killer could be one of any of the 24 party-goers and its up to you to listen in on the guests, interrogate ghosts, and narrow down who the killer is before it's too late!!

Loved the aesthetic of this one so much! I don't wanna admit how long I looked for that last bottle... very mysterious vibes, I loved exploring the creepy island.

If you're not panicking at the end, it wouldn't be a game jam lol! trying yours now :)

The music was also incredible, just wanted to mention. The composers did such a great job!

What a beautiful game!! Was not expecting the music minigame but it felt so satisfying to play. The idea of using music to successfully evoke memory was such a cool concept, amazing experience :)

Just finished playing!! I loved it :)

I was not expecting the realistic burger physics!!! It took me a lil to understand the point and click placement, but once I understood I was having so much fun :) amazing submission to the jam!!

Thank you so much!

I was the programmer for the game Deadtective and I would love it if you gave our game a look! We started the jam a little late but we had so much fun making this cute top down murder mystery game with some really funny dialogue.

Here's a lil snippet of the gameplay!

So glad you enjoyed it, thank you!

Thank you so much for playing!

It's crazy how much effort goes into making a game that's even playable!! Hopefully you're taking a good long break now, but it's so impressive to create anything in that short of a time. I'd love to try your game

I've been so hyped about seeing what people come up with for the theme this year!! Please send me games to try, rate, and give feedback on if you want it. I'm also curious how everyone's jam experience went! Personally I managed to create a game breaking While loop statement in the last hour before the deadline... so I'm just glad to have a working build for people to play. I hope everyone's taking a deserved break afterwards :)

We started our game Deadtective a little late in the jam but we're still proud of it and would love to know what people think!

If you're curious about the gameplay, check out this trailer!

Thank you for the feedback! For the bone levitation, it's set up right now where the bones only levitate when they are in the range of the cursor but I agree that can be frustrating when they fall out of range if you move too fast. I think I will either make the range more defined with a clear circle or make it so that bones stay affected as long as they started inside the range and there is still mana left. I'll also add in the spacebar for jumping and hopefully clean up some physics issues before the final release!

For the sake of playtesting, you can press the 'U' key while in the level select screen to unlock all of the levels in case you get stuck.
