Currently the punishment only happens when you mine those wrongly marked tile. When that happens, you will get stunned for 1 turn, so it's a free move for all enemies in the map.

But yeah, that's only relevant when there are enemies in the map. When there's none, there's really no consequences for marking everything.

Initially I wanted to make it cost a "bomb extractor" item to mine a marked tile, which means you'll waste that item and a turn if it turns out to be wrong. But I didn't manage to implement it in the game jam xD

Oh no, that looks really weird. Seems to be an issue with the tileset layer stack, but I can't exactly tell what's causing that to happen since you're the first one who reported this. So I'm not sure how to fix it for now 😭🙏

This is such a polished game, great work! If I may give a few suggestions:

  • Switch size using mousewheel instead of the number keys
  • Different color for different size enemies to better distinct them

Regarding 1) it is completely intentional ;) I don't want players who got stuck because of bad luck to be completely out of options to dodge

The enemy AI definitely could use some more improvement. Although, I didn't really have much time because my thesis' deadline was coming close, so I just made them move around at random

Weirdly enough this black screen bug only happens on higher end PC, and I managed to work around it by simply re-exporting with higher graphic settings (it doesn't actually look any different though)
