really loved the painted backgrounds and the text formatting on this one! the kind of shared emotional spiral depicted here is a very familiar one for me as well, and it hit very close to home in that regard. barfgirls 4 ever.

i drew sprites for the main characters of my VN, “Church of Filth”.

in order their names are Stella, Jenny and Phi. i wanna change Phi’s eye color bcuz the light green clashes with the rest of her design, but otherwise i’m happy with them ^^

EDIT: deleted the sprites i drew bcuz i’m now rewriting my VN project completely ;;w;;

raw as fuuuuuuck. excellent use of assets and noise!! i really liked the progression between backgrounds and the cutting to more deep-fried versions of the same image. it felt cinematic in a cool way. also huge respect for pulling from both The Dark Eye and American McGee’s Alice for this lol.

a really incredible mix of noise and poetry and visuals!! the mermaid motif resonates a lot too in all it represents.

aghhhhh this is so fucking good!! incredible use of dithered B&W assets and a perfect mix of tender and oppressive atmosphere. the way the story folds between obsession and self-abandonment building to that final act of reclamation is really beautiful and relatable. and whom among us hasn't experienced egodeath via trauma-bonded limerence etc. etc.
