awesome, definitely looking forward to playing that!

Awesome, love the inscryption-style puzzles while not in battle! I wish there was a little more variety to combat, but what's already there is EXTREMELY well done, I found myself actually using my consumable items (a very rare feat) and strategizing a little bit. Awesome game!

ohh interesting, I didn’t know that the 60 fps could do that! Always awesome to see another scratcher in the wild!

no I totally agree, I had really wanted more sound effects and visual polish (I don’t think anyone even knows what purify does lol) but we had run out of time. Thank you so much for the kind words!

no way, thank you so much dude! That was one of my major problems with our final build too, and if we developed it further this would definitely be  our first priority.

thank you so much! If me and my friend did decide to make this into a legit game that would definitely be one of our first priorities, we just ran out of time (my friend had actually added all of the new abilities just a little bit before exporting the build so even I don’t know what some of the stuff does lmao)

One of the most fun card games I've played. I just wish there was more, lol. Voice acting was entirely unexpected but incredible, there's a ton of strategy (I didn't even realize that the "move card to the right" can also be used for sequencing the opponent's actions). Absolutely awesome, top marks in all categories from me.

I can definitely see a full version of this, with different stages, hazards, and spells. Extremely fun, though the audio is probably its weakest point (sound effects are good but a little bit repetitive, and the music doesn't seem to fit the vibe properly), though the gameplay more than makes up for it, nice job!

SCRATCH MENTIONED, IT'S PEAK, GIVE THIS ONE THE AWARD! Seriously though, this is one of my favorite rhythm games I've ever played. Mechanically it's super simple but fun, the visuals sync up super nicely (how in the world did you do that btw? Scratch is super hard to sync up to music, even with the timer) and the graphics are super appealing. Absolute cinema, one of my favorites from this jam.

I really, REALLY love this game. I love the warioware-style microgames for the defusing and having each sticky note stack on top of each other, graphics are overall just peak, but the bomb can sometimes spawn and explode before the case opens, which is unfortunate. Dying is funny enough for me to entirely forgive that though.

I'm a simple man, I see deckbuilder roguelike, I click. In all seriousness, this is my personal winner. I LOVE the mechanic that makes every played card take time instead of energy, giving a very different vibe from Slay the Spire or other similar deckbuilders. Also holy crap, the music is just frickin insane.

Super fun, and cool concept! I don't think the relic selection screen works on Mac, though (for some reason game engines are weird about Mac cursors), but the core loop was engaging enough that I kept playing despite that, lol

I don't know what most of the skills do either, I didn't get a chance to playtest the build my friend uploaded before submitting lol

I really wanted to get more of that in the game too, but we ran out of time unfortunately… as for the story, there is LITERALLY nothing there lmao, I just told my artist “ok we need this pose and this pose and this pose” and she decided to make it pirate themed. Thank you so much for the kind words, I was really disappointed with how it turned out but you just made my day! (By the way, Deflect is just a defend that doesn’t last as long. It makes it so if you’re skilled enough, you can block an attack without needing to commit to a long block time- my friend added a bunch of the other actions so I’m not entirely sure what they do lol)

The attack range is SUPER short and makes it pretty difficult to attack the enemy without getting hit yourself, but this is a really fun concept.

TURBOWAAAAARP

Great game! Really my only problem is that it's too short, with not enough upgrades and levels.

Yep, I drew everything using Turbowarp's built-in SVG editor. Thanks so much for the awesome review!

I could add a downloadable .exe if you really want. Shovel said we can change the itch page, just not the game itself. I could even attach the original sb3 so it's moddable.

This is great! Level design and modeling is absolutely on point, though I have a couple critiques. The way the camera works is kind of annoying sometimes (maybe it's just cuz I'm on laptop though lol), and the last level feels a little... all over the place, like I don't even know where to begin. Other than that, incredible game.

Dangit. Yeah the submit button is really buggy, it was working when I'd packaged it but I guess it stopped- I wish I could get one more patch out. Thanks for the review!

Pretty cool mechanic! Difficulty spikes up a lot after the first or second level, but other than that this is really cool.

This is pretty cool, if lacking a bit in mechanics and overall gameplay.

I've actually been working with it (on my current account) for almost 6 years now. I don't really know any other languages so I stuck with this. I really can't take all the credit though, this wouldn't exist if it weren't for the amazing artists and other coders.

My mom says it reminds her of Goldeneye 007, but with a worm. Very impressive, if it were up to me you'd have the "Most likely to succeed" award (As of writing this they haven't announced the awards yet :P).

Charging... Charging... FIRE! The gameplay was interesting, the art was great, and the concept is hilarious. Great job!

The concept and gameplay were super interesting, and the art was incredible. I love just how many possible combinations there are, and I'll definitely be playing this again later.

Yay, I got a Christmas present! The animation was very fluid and looked great, and I don't know about other people, but I love "explosion humor" and this hit the spot.

The subtle, yet right-on humor was incredible, not to mention the gameplay was unique and interesting. Definitely earned the 5 star.
