Hi, just wanted to say I downloaded the demo today and played through all the dressmaking scenarios. I will definitely be doing some freestyle designing later. I loved it, and wanted to share what I have made so far! (see images in reply comment)
I also have a few ideas:
1. The kitty is great. I want to be able to name him, give treats, and buy him goodies with my profits.
2. More sleeve, skirt, bodice designs please!
3. I would love to see, for characters with different body types or child characters, some different size dress forms. Even just a small, medium, large and kids size would make a world of a difference.
4. As someone who sews on a treadle, a few things I just wanted to mention: The thread and needle animations are great, but there should also be a leather cord going along the handwheel. Also, the seams in the wood of the sewing table seem a bit strange to me. It doesn't look like the surface of any treadle table I have worked with.
5. I would love a story aspect, maybe building up a relationship with your clientele and getting to know them over time, allowing us to make clothing more suited to them, eg when prudence commissions the dress to the fundraiser, if we know her well enough to know she is trying to catch the eye of the duke (presumably to gain access to his fortune) we can make a dress that also has a high enough romantic score, giving her a boost in her attempts to gain his favour.
