Thank you so much! Hearing that you've enjoyed my games means a great deal to me, and that is a lovely question.

I'm actually in the middle of building a sequel, House of Adalia! It follows the house a Knight of Adalia life leaves behind, across three generations: your children, then theirs, and theirs. At the end of a life you can export your house, with its children, lands and the people you knew, and the sequel carries it forward.

Here's the part that answers your question. The head of the house doesn't have to be a man. A daughter can inherit and lead the house wherever the law of succession allows it, and in the sequel that law is something the West argues over and the house can fight to change. Who your children are matched with, what a daughter is worth in land and silver, who rules the house for a child who is too young: that's where the pressures of a lady of high birth sit, and I want to do them properly.

It's early, and I can't give you a date. But I'm grateful you asked, and I'd love to hear what you'd most want a noblewoman's life to show!

Thanks for playing it through, and congratulations on the earldom! An archer's son at Earl is about as far as the middle route goes without a crown.

To answer what you asked: most of it is up to you. Each chapter has fixed events, like the wars and the plague, but how they go for you depends on your choices, your skills and the people you keep faith with. There are seven endings to end up with, but I understand the game doesn't show you that well, and I'll work on that!

Thanks! Good eye, Pendragon was a big influence, especially the paired traits and the year-by-year life with a winter phase. The joust and the economy are my own take, built on real 15th-century tourney rules.

Really appreciate you playing it and taking the time to write this! Fair points on both, getting into it is harder than it should be, and it could use more life. I'll be taking your feedback into the next update. Thanks again!
