it's not all about practice, steam is not like others marketplace, it's not only the most popular platform, for only indie-developments, many big company today has released in steam their games like Activision/Blizzard - over watch, because steam have the biggest community, that can make game famous and popular, but today these game is a nugget of gold in Alaska.
Same deal, don't understand the position "i need create more content to release" when many games in steam like "Nothing" https://store.steampowered.com/app/2696480/Nothing/ and this game have a lot of content and mechanics and don't get released, so sad...
