Waited with much anticipation for the release of the new Kickstarter demo.

The graphics and sound in this game are amazing. That difficulty though, sorry I just can't enjoy the game properly and that is a major disappointment for me after waiting so long.

A lot of people making similar comments. Make take on it is, enemy ships are too fast regardless if you have the speed set to slow, projectiles are too fast or there's far too many to have any hope of dodging even if I set the game to Easy. Enemies that accelerate towards you fly at you with an even more impossible speed that they were already flying at, and then what's more some enemies fly into the back of you without any hope of being able to dodge them.

I feel like I need 8 eyes to be able to keep track of everything going on onscreen to stand a chance of avoiding it all. Some enemies take an absolute ton of hits to destroy them. Things get easier if you can power up your weapon, but the fact that it's one hit = lose a life and all power ups makes it all the more frustrating.

I get that you are trying to produce a game here that feels fast and plays fast, and believe me you are achieving that. It's quite astonishing the speed of the game without any sign of slowdown despite everything that is happening onscreen. I wouldn't want you to compromise on the speed of anything, and there isn't really a need to if you change it so that a) the ship took a number of hits before losing a life, or b) the ship had a health bar. Maybe the one hit system could be incorporated as a 'hardcore' mode or as one of the variables of the Very Hard mode?

You are doing some excellent work with this game. Still excited for the project and very much looking forward to the final product. Could you maybe just give us a little slack with the difficulty though?
