Thank you. They ar reacting like teenagers to newly planted trees in "their" neighbourhood, ripping up these shameless intruders that dare to bring quality to their sordid lives. Odium dum metuant, as Augustus said.: "Let them hate, so long as they fear" Hate modernity, that is.

I often wonder why humans on the Internet feel the urge to be gratuitously offensive. You sneer at me, from no position of reputation or strength, I cannot but wonder at your motivation: are you of such low self-esteem that you have to elevate your view of yourself by pissing on the leg of total strangers?

You may or may not be aware that itch.io limits the size of the files that you can upload, This means that you have either to choose to have a few high res graphics or more adequate ones, I - and most users - prefer the latter. I am sorry if the result offends you, O! Princess with the pea under her mattress, but the level fo offense must be unbearable with conventional visual novels, which are mostly scribbles in comparison,
You have no idea what you are talking about. Like a baby bird, picking up song memes from the crowd, you hear "AI slop" and repeat it. Tweedle wheedle.
If you dislike the graphics, review the scribbles that fill many of the VNs on offer here, How is this a downgrade? Or do you believe that "art" must be hand made and however limited the skill, that is better than hours of curation, using fine tools? Should one eschew paint brushes and pencils in favour of fingers and mud, blood, faeces and other "natural" pigments?
Up Top is now published on itch.io. It follows Top's progress from a naked prisoner to dizzy heights. https://earlofmaine.itch.io/up-top
I do not recognise the question as valid. If a table is made by a machine, or an identical table is gnawed into shape be a beaver, are there intrinsic difference in what that table does for its user? Those who care about intangibles would say not: the beaver gnawed piece is "organic" and has "soul". A logical positivist would say, with justification, that that is fluff, that it is all self delusion and that the table it is what it does and that is why a given lump of matter is called a table in the first place. Molecules is molecules, as Daffy Duck would undoubtedly have said.
Thank you for your comments. You have obviously studied the images in detail, which is gratifying. As we have noted in the DevLog, Top's story is coming put in October - Tempoview has archived alll the images, and the arduous business of ordering them and validating the commentary now starts. The place of much-loved Jax in history may well follow.
His early life was pretty grim, but he gets into a real tangle with the American secessionary movement when he is Thrix's security chief. This story may be worth a record: we already have Upsurge and Up Top is coming, so the title Jax Up might be appropriate? He does that a lot, does Jax.
I find myself wondering why you bothered to write so long a text about something which you claim to hold in contempt. To the viewer, unless steeped in art history, an image is what it is, not how it was made.
College undergraduate criticism about narrative ignores the fact that life seldom follows a narrative structure, but "just happens". People die, pointlessly; there is almost never a grand punchline. Life and careers follow pinball trajectories, with no celestial author guiding their elegant disposition.
You clearly have not downloaded Upsurge and are just shooting your mouth off.
" Do you want me to scratch behind your ears, prompter?" I do not expect anything from you, save perhaps basic politeness. But in your dark little room, odorous with last week's pizza boxes, politeness is likely a stranger.
