I love Ironsworn, and I love the idea of Mausritter, but I hadn't much success soloing it, so I'm really intrigued! Loved your creations very much!

"You can Spacewalk between any two Modules nearest one another, provided you can draw a straight, or diagonal, line between them and they’re separated by empty space. This gap may be part of the ship’s original design or caused by the ship breaking apart."

You can spacewalk from one corner to another as long as you can draw a straight line with empty space between them. Doesn't have to be broken apart. (And Threats don't spacewalk (see below in one of the comments from the creator), so there might be a reason to take that risk once in a while.)

Another option that I found somewhere as a technique is to add circles for what you have/get, and fill/cross circles when you loose them. E.g. starting with

Health: ○○○○○

When getting 2 harm, fill/cross 2:

Health: ●●○○○

When healing 1, add 1 circle again:

Health: ●●○○○○

etc. (Circles could be included in a template in very light gray, to be outlined when you get them.)

Pretty cool, I combined it with the Key-Lock-style adventure from https://thenwdm.itch.io/alone-together-1 and have a lot of fun.

Just a side remark that the root of the sum of the 2-digit numbers is the same as just summing all the digits (and taking the root). I think it is still unpredictable enough for me that way but it makes it a bit easier to calculate to my mind.

Ok, I see it on the character sheet now. That is not in the readable.pdf which threw me off track :).

Great! I like the change of wording to approaches/methods, and the progression of Luck > Wealth > Happiness > Health. As well as making it setting agnostic via the titles. You fail to explain the XP track though.

Wonderful game, even though the organization of the rules could be improved here or there, but nothing really deal breaking. Looking forward to Apawthecaria!

Thanks for your explanations. Totally agree about mixed success!

Hi, some questions:

  • why did you make the "dice" version harder than the "COIN" version? 5+ is 33% vs coin flip (50%)
  • is the "mixed result" bump you get for 3XP meant as a PbtA-style "you do it, but with a cost / hard choice" ?
