I have some enemy in mind that could change your size (make you normal-sized), but it's a late stretch goal. Getting too tired will make you shrink back to normal person size too. There been other similar suggestion about being trapped in covered structures or being shrunk down below normal person size.

Making this board a bit in advance. To discuss what tools you'd like to have as a modder. There are 2 types of modding i consider:
- Scripted content mods that you make in Godot (if you never used Godot that's fine, is lightweight and I'll try to provide you with some good places to learn it). This is unsafe and you'll have to trust mod author.
- Limited modding for some specific features, such as just adding models or some sort of scenarios (I didn't come up with much yet).
Please share what kind of stuff you'd like to mod in, so I can design the game to allow that.
Oh I wish to do some play tests as early as possible, so I can get feedback and course-correct. But I'm afraid I'll only have 1 go for most people, so I'll better have something worthwhile! I consider doing some closed tests, closed meaning "anyone can join but you tell me first that you're okay with jank".
I predict shrinking would not be too difficult to add. Shrinking could also fit in with story/worldbuilding I have. I'd like to do a few detailed interiors that could serve as levels for shrinking, but making growth mechanics, NPC interactions, and levels for larger sizes will be higher priority for now. After growth part of the game is in good state, I may do something with shrinking, if there is still interest; I have a few ideas for that.
I'd like to make player being able to outgrow buildings from inside, if that's what you meant by "burst out". Though, it would likely not deal damage.
As it is now, it doesn't support ability to mod anything. Since this release, I learned to add mod support, and it is high priority for an upcoming versions/reworks. But I doubt it would be worth backporting modding to this project, since it would take some rigging effort to adjust models to skeleton I use here. Unless rigging doesn't scare you?
