What an amazing game! I am not biased at all! ;)

yep, looked into it and it was definitely the build. I fixed the problem, thanks so much for letting me know dude!!!

I'll look into that, thanks f

You got so much done in so little time dude! Even got a working dialogue system! I envy you lol. You provide text whenever I walk up to a new thing!! not enough games do this! It prevents me from being overwhelmed with a bunch of information by getting it gradually, i really appreciate that feature :) the art style is minimalist and charming, and the exploration is cool, I like how I can walk off the border of the screen and enter a new area. I bet this would be good for performance if you were to increase the scale of the game. Overall I loved it! maybe add some music next :)

Did you draw this stuff yourself? I love the art! the music was chill too, and I liked the cat pee prank lol :)

Nice game! I enjoyed the music, the random plants, and was there a bit of procedural generation going on there? very cool stuff. I also really liked the character visual, it would be cool to see that character animated! I feel like that would add to the immersion of the game :)

Definitely keep working on this project- you’ve got something special here and some SERIOUS artistic talent that I’m jealous of

whoever made this environment... omg it's amazing. I was motivated to explore everywhere just from that alone. I was a bit confused by the farming mechanics at first but the manual came in handy. if I had to pick one thing I would suggest to improve it would be the audio, there was one ambient noise that kept playing on repeat and I had to mute it after a while. But I really can't complain, this game looks amazing and is incredibly creative! best game I've played so far in the jam by far!

Thanks so much for the kind words! With the music I was trying to go for something "minecraft-y" where there was music that would play randomly throughout the experience, this might not be a good idea at this stage of the game since you won't be in an area for that long anyways. I will fix that right away! thanks again :)

I definitely do not wish I lived in this games world haha, I was scared. This game is very ominous, in a good way! it was a bit difficult to figure out how things worked at first but once I figured it out it wasn't that bad,  it would be cool to have some sort of visual that shows how much time is remaining in the day/night. I think my favorite part of this game is the audio, especially the sound of the people eating (real off putting) :)

this game looks interesting, I'd like to play it but I've never seen a .co file before, maybe you could provide some download instructions with the game?

This game is so cute! I think a good next step would be to add some relaxing music that goes with the gameplay :) if I had to pick one thing to improve it would be maybe the requirements could be a bit lower at the beginning of the game, like for example level 1 you just need to collect 10 carrots, and then after a bunch of levels you work your way up to needing to harvest over a hundred of 6 different crops. oh yeah, and some more dialogue would be really cool! I know those systems can be a pain to make but since it's already set up it couldn't hurt :) I really like the aesthetic of the game and the farm focus!

not sure why this got downvoted, this is true and I wish the creator made the sprite sheet less annoying to cut :/

Why is this so fire 😭😭😭😭😭  the transition to the sam dialogue was so clean and the dialogue was so funny plz make a game with me holy smokes

Thanks so much for the response! Ah I see, and you're able to do that to UI objects, or are you using 3D objects for the cards?

I love your game so much! The vibe is what makes it so excellent imo. If I may ask, how do you create such smooth animations with the cards, like when they flip over from the draw pile?

Holy smokes this game looks and sounds so good!!! I'm guessing you used a custom shader with dithering to achieve the look? (I would love any tutorial recommendations for how you got the racing feel/ aesthetic) but either way this is a killer game!!!

heads up bro, I was not able to run the exe :( which is too bad because this seems like a cool concept

dude this is so sick, I could never imagine programming something like this, must have been tough so nice work. If you ever add more to it might I suggest moving straight up/down with q/e in build mode. Everything worked on my end, good stuff!

Thanks stef! I added 3 mushrooms so far, each with their own ability :)

Sweet, I am psychaote on discord

just listened to battle up the mountain and it sounds sooooo good omg

i’m making a cozy game if u wanna team up :)

Hi benji! I’m a unity dev, got room for one more?

HOLY SMOKES THIS IS AMAZING

TYSM!

Ikr :( I accidentally deleted the files even though there was a big message that told me not to that I didnt see until it was too late :((

(the game will be back when the jam is over though!)

10/10 !!! I love the noises the slider makes when you move it. It was pretty noticeable that there is a skip when rotating, I've encountered this too and I fix it by manipulating my rotation methods, adding/removing clamps and stuff like that. lmk if you need help figuring that out. Other than that this game was amazing, I played all the way through and enjoyed it (spent more time than I'd like to admit on the cricket haha) finally, the sky looks AMAZING. Did you make that yourself??

Thanks so much for the feedback! Just to clarify, when you say the audio quality could use some work are you referring to the music, a specific set of sound effects, or both? I would like to improve on this if I can, thanks again :)

This game was really pretty, and subsequently a bit laggy lol. The sensitivity was really high and the motion blur was pretty heavy, but I enjoyed the mystery and puzzle mechanics! Nice job guys :)

Happens to the best of us my guy, thing is it actually looks really good and the mechanic is 10/10 as far as innovation goes

This is the first time one of my games was called peak, I am truly honored <3

Sup dude! want to team up?

Anyone need a developer? I'm looking for a team :) (I use unity)

Good stuff, I really enjoyed it, thanks for the coin! Just so you know, I noticed a bug where I was able to jump off the spikes and switch my direction when I should have died, but it didn't take away from the experience much. The music was a great touch as well

I'm always impressed when people can create something so big and complete with so little.  I Laughed when I read the rules. The polish is great and I enjoyed playing, Nice work!

This game is super atmospheric I love it! It gets a little repetitive but I'm guessing that's what you guys were going for, also the art puts it all together perfectly! This game kind of reminds me of severance in a way

Thanks for the kind words :) Yeah I still have no idea how to optimize games but I will work on that in the future!

Thanks for the kind words :D

I am Absolutely Astonished by the quality of this game. This is one of my favorite itch games I've played for sure. From a game design point of view this is genius!!

Bonus points for incorporating a dungeon!!  DUDE! this game is so much fun! how did you do this in 36 hours?? The game feels fluid and has solid mechanics, the shooting feels good, not too easy, not too hard, and you can light up the torches with projectiles OR your body! Normally I give a piece of constructive criticism but I wouldn't change anything here. 5/5 my favorite game of the jam
