Here's the basic outline of how to buy the villa... and the 'walkthrough' more or less.

1. Focus on getting established in Rome.  In the beginning your best source of cash is not the bordello, it's trying law cases at the basilica.

2. Be sure to improve your stats - rhetoric, etc

3. Initially buy only Fasti and train her until she can open the bordello.  Repeat this for her multiple sex / non-sex acts.  Once she's more or less fully trained, buy Parmida.  repeat this process for Parmida.  Repeat for Inga.

4. Socialize at least a few times in the Baths.

5. Get Alfidia trained with Valeria

6. Upgrade the bordello at least one step

7. Talk to Charis a few times

8. Talk to the furnisher, the labor merchant, and the remote merchants.  One of them will tell you about buying a villa.

9. Go through the hoops at the Basilica to buy the villa, it takes time.

10. Hire the villa manager - talk to merchants again

11. Set the villa manager to 'stay' at the villa.

12.  Now you will get the upgrade quests from the villa manager and Charis when you talk to them

13.  That's about the extent of the last release.  In this next release there will be more quest activity after this.

It depends on our progress - ideally a lot of small bugs, some medium bugs, "parties" (orgies) and additional sex scenes with the girls

It's important that everyone have realistic expectations for the timing of 3.2.73.  The last release took us a year because of staff and timing issues.  So, a *LOT* of stuff got moved into the build list for 3.2.73.  Please be patient, it will not come out in a month or two.

Any potential future Steam release would be of a 'Steam Only' version.

The 3.2.72 update is almost complete.  Yes, it's been a year.  Yes, we had to replace members of the team.  If you are a monthly supporter, then turn off your subscription until you are happy again.  If you bought it one-time, then you got what you paid for, sorry.

I just dropped the release into testing, and so far it looks very good.

For those of patiently waiting, the 3.2.72 release is finally (almost) ready for release.  Those who have already purchased the game will get this update for free, of course.  I'm also going to be raising the price slightly, so now is a good time to buy for about $1 less.

Progress Update

This release will include a number of small improvements like:

• Reduce the use of the 'wait spinner'
• Make some small travel improvements
• Improve hauling of goods
• Update to some training content
• New loyalty content

Good news - 3.2.7 has a full cheat menu in it to eliminate the grind.

3.2.7 is now very close to internal testing, please stay tuned.  It's a major new release with lots of added features and at least two new sex scenes.

Just a quick update.  So far we are still on track for version 3.2.7 to start bug testing at the end of the month.  It's a *major* release with significant updates to the game, so stay tuned.

We're going to do a crippled / censored version for Steam in the future - probably 6 months out.  The 'authentic' version will still contain the real story.

Fixed!

We are currently testing a new release, 3.2.6 with several small updates.

Each girl will have three loyalty quests, more or less.  Their willingness to be obedient increases with the first, and affection begins with the second.  It sounds like you're mostly at the end of the existing content.  Moree to come soonish.

Alfidia is *terrible* at managing the bordello until you get her trained up.  Buy your own goods in the beginning if you can stay on top of it.

Only buy Fasti and Inka to start.  Train them and set them to whoring.  The bordello is a shit hole, so no clients will be happy, but you can still make some money.  When you are in real need of cash, train your rhetoric in the basilica and start taking clients.  A good case can get you 4000 sestertii

That might be a quest error.  Try it a couple more times, please.  Hundreds of people have played that quest though

Go to Asculum.  Sleep in the bedroom until the day calendar in the corner says "Dies Veneris" - that's the day he's in the town square.

Talk to the merchants in Rome.  They will tell you (eventually) about a merchant.  He appears on on Dies Veneris (Day of Vnus) weekly in Asculum town square.

The quick-save/quick-load feature is something that people use right now.  I know that people want to be able to roll back, but there are very few unrecoverable decisions in the game right now.

• Do I make Zeno my partner? - Right now this does not do much.  In a soon to be released update, this is a critical decision that can't be undone
• Do I try to seduce my sister? This leads to a whole series of unrecoverable decisions
• Don't beat the girls too much, they can go crazy

Well, in the second release coming up (not the next one) we'll be adding additional provinces and additional travel.  Kind of the opposite of what you're asking for  guess.  One click travel wont be in the game for long distances.  When you travel outdoors, you might end up in combat (vers. 3.3+)

As to the grind comment, yes we know.  It's on our list to fix.  How we will do it is that we will create a cheat menu which will allow you to increase the skill improvement you get from each success and training.  For example, instead of a 1 point increase for training, you could choose 3 or 5 or 10 or something.
