I guess I just suck, or it is just more of me having absolutely zero luck, but this game had it out for me on 9 separate runs. I use the word "run" loosely because I never even made it to the third generation. Every single time a couple got married, one of them died the next turn. They absolutely REFUSED to get pregnant, and I just watched as my useless family whittled away into nothing. It's really fun watching my lone 8-year-old, the head, as he is surrounded by dead bodies. Honestly the death system was a little over the top, and how about Bastards? Did I control the one celibate house in history? Hell If I were the head and this is what was happening to my house, I would decree orgies to take place every day until somebody gets pregnant or they die, whichever comes first!

I am a 30-year-old man, so this isn't exactly what one would call "my typical genre." However, so burnt out by the endless deluge of cynical, disturbing ,"we are all going to die; let's be horrible to each other, and wallow in our misery together" stories, I decided to give this a shot. Actually got a bit misty-eyed by how innocent and sweet the story was.

I was just curoius if we could get a new Game Mode, where you are trying to talk to a girl but you have Karens chasing you around screaming how you are "mansplaning to them". You also have to avoid cuck male femansists who want to yell at you about "objectifying women", and also answer why they can't get women even though they agree with everything femanists say?!
Lol but on a real note it is an awesome game. BS that Steam put it on a ban list... Lame
