For me, it was very difficult with the previous layout; I only managed an A because it's possible to press all the buttons and still get a hit (yes, I cheated on my first attempt).
With this new layout, I still need to be careful, and even then I wasn't perfect, but the difference was huge.
However, I had difficulty unlocking other songs. I think it would be better if the notes were distributed in the following order: ⬇️➡️❎🅾️.
That way, the position of the notes would coincide with the position of the controller. Currently, when I'm on hard mode and pressing ⬇️ and then a ⬆️ appears, I find it difficult to remember that that note is the ⬆️ and not the ⬅️.
I loved the game. The aesthetic of everything being made up of characters and words seemed very creative to me, and the story narrated on the bottom of each page is really cool too.

É possível clicar na nona fase mesmo com o X e isso desencadeia uma cutscene de um monstro dizendo que me mataria se eu escalasse a montanha e, clicando no 10, vem uma frase perguntando se eu me matei. Não sei se era intencional.
De qualquer forma, ótimo jogo, bem divertido e com um desafio legal. Se fosse possível gerar um executável para jogar direto do PC e em tela cheia, seria perfeito.
Fun game, but it would be much better if it had a soundtrack and sounds for certain actions, like jumping and picking up fruit. Also, a executable would be nice.
Honestly, I really enjoyed the game. I would only add the option to move using the d-pad; having to use the analog stick in a platform game is simply bad for me.
The game is beautiful. I only recommend putting screenshots on the page; I felt it was a gamble when I downloaded it. It was worth it, but I think many people will be more interested if they can see what the game is like beforehand.

Sorry, I made a review of a problem I was having, but when I checked I discovered that for some reason there was a bad calibration in Windows that made the analog stick on my controller go to the left (and it happened even with another controller) and for some reason it wasn't affecting other games, but when I restored the controller calibration it worked normally.
