As long as you'll be pleased with your work, I've got your back! (And don't worry too much about being perfect.) I'm just worried you might end up changing too many things just to appease everyone else. I'm looking forward to what's coming, no matter what you decide.

(And I just want to add, the AI style really fits the dreamscape/liminal feel of the setting. It's not just Sam. The game is both a nightmare, but also an amazing dream.)

First of all, I love Sam, and I really like this game.

I've seen a few comments and I want to throw in my own 2 cents because I feel differently.

My mentality is pretty much the opposite of protag-- This isn't a complaint, because you can't expect your character be *everyone*. They have to be *someone*, and sometimes, that someone just isn't you (or me). It can feel disappointing or even frustrating, when the protag is so different, but I accept it. There's no easy way to fix this, and I for a fact know, a lot of people will probably resonate with the protag. I have had a lot of friends like the protag, and there are people who really think like that... and that's okay.

But the one thing I fully resonate and synchronize with the protag, is his feelings for Sam. I don't think he moves too fast. As an Eros (Color Wheel Theory of Love), love at first sight is totally a thing. I'm not sure if protag is a furry or not, but for some of us, Sam is the being of our dreams. And he's so nice, kind, selfless, considerate, on top of being attractive. I find it hard not to love and have feelings for him almost immediately. Moreover, Sam is also attracted to the protag... This is the love story between two Eros... at least, that's how I see it. And when two people have mutual attraction, they get together quickly. (This might be hard to comprehend for non-Eros or non-Eros adjacent. It's not an insult, it's just a different PoV and you'll just have to take my words for it. I'll be perfectly honest and say that some of us really do think with our lower body. Again, it's not an insult, just a different PoV.) (And if you say you're an Eros and this is nonsense to you... Ehh... just take my word for it, that some Eros will feel this way, and this makes sense for *some* people. I pre-emptively say this, because I always imagine there's someone right around the corner who will show up to contradict/invalidate my points.)

Personally, I think the protag should stay as himself. He is his own person, with his own feelings. Aside from being an Eros, he's a terrible stand in for me, but the protag can only be one person, and that might as well as be himself, because like I said, he can't be everyone, unless you make him mute (no dialogue/thoughts/feelings of his own) so that people can insert their own things... But, well, that'd make this into an entirely different game, wouldn't it? You'd have to delete so much inner thoughts and dialogues, and it'd mostly be Sam talking if the protag doesn't talk. If the protag happens to be a Type 4 (Enneagram) Eros, then so be it. (And for the heck of it, I think he's an INFP... but I'm less confident about this one.)

I'd like to see more of this game, and I encourage the dev to just keep going instead of changing protag's mindset.
