Actually, you want the spritesheets like this. Smaller PNG = less memory allocation. 
This is industry standard. Every 2d game engine comes with a h-flip parameter to turn the sprite around.

And for the record, I'm not asking to change the license on the asset pack, I'm asking if we could arrange a license between the two of us for me to redistribute a small selection of the free assets. I would be able to provide a higher quality experience to my viewers, and you will probably see more traffic to your itch.io page of people looking to get the whole pack and/or add-on.

Hi Pixel Frog, 

Great looking assets, I would love to use them in a multi-part tutorial series for the Godot Game Engine. 
Ideally I would be putting a limited number of assets in a prepared folder structure onto GitHub as a starter kit for new developers. Your current license doesn't allow that. 

Is there a possibility to get that access for just a limited number of free assets? I will of course refer to your itch.io page, link it, and point out the full pack and paid assets if people want to take the tutorial a step further.
