Nice game. The only thing I didn't like were the controls. I couldn't shoot in every direction, only left and right. Even if I could shoot up and down it would be so much better. The art and audio are very good though.
The game is awesome. I like the pixel art and the music, But I also have some suggestions :
1. I saw that I could kill the enemy from far and it didn't chase me. Make it chase you when damaged.
2. I forgot.
3. You should have also written somewhere that scrolling will change the spell. I didn't know that and found out accidentally.
But these are very easy to solve so great job. :)
Also, the game was glitching when I got to the second level and the background became black, so I had to quit. I didn't play again, so I don't know about the second level.
