Very nice game! It's really hard to make a jam game that complete, fun and polished, people (including me) usually underestimate one of the most important aspects of making games for game jams: scope. And I think you managed to set a very good one!

Thank you so much! We're glad you liked it!

Thank you! We're glad you find that, it's actually our first try on the clicker genre.

Thank you very much! In relation to manual clicking we agree and will definitely implement more stuff in future updates.

Thank you very much! Yeah it's definitely not that original haha

He is a Mutatoes.inc experiment that managed to escape...

Its a procedural shader! We didn't actually make it, it's a free asset we found on the web, it uses Fractal Brownian Motion.

A really good one! Very satisfying and fun to play! And what an original idea! Congratulations for you guys!

Thank you very much! We're glad you liked it!

Thank you very much! Your comment means a lot to us! That's what we wanted to capture! Even though unfinished haha

Thank you very much! I think people (both devs and players) underestimate how the clicker genre can be fun. Glad you liked it!

Thank you! We are glad you liked it! Our artist .sawmankler. is a legend, right?

Thank you very much!

We really appreciate your comment! Making it we really tought about making it mobile-friendly but more polished than current mobile games of the genre. Glad you liked it!

Thank you very much! I agree with you that the click was neglected, we are figuring out ways to make it still valuable in mid and late game. I'm glad you liked the music and sounds! About the potato sound, you suggestion is noted!

Bro that's really impressive, your first jam and this level of polishing. I loved the fact the the camera moves when you go to the other side of the screen, the mixture between 2D and 3D is very well made. The art and sound is also pretty good. And the UI is also very polished and functional. Congratulations!

Very cool game! The boss fight was unexpected but enjoyed haha!

But the most incredible thing is that we gave the same name to our games. Mine's is not near as complete and fun as yours, that's for sure haha

Very cool and cute little game! Congrats!

Thank you very much!

Thank you for playing! If you have a lab and click at the potato button it has a chance of changing its shape (the only mutation we managed to implement in time). But yeah it has near to none mutation related aspects implemented.

In relation to being able to buy with 10 less potatos that prices, I think its because the balance label actually tweens to the new updated potato balance values, so what we see is a little bit delayed from actual current balance. Maybe in future we can use the current tween value to limit purchases instead of the unprocessed value. Thanks for addressing it!

Congrats for you guys! Its a very good looking and fun game, and also very elaborated for the time (kudos for that)! And how not to mention the frutiger aero vibes.

Thank you so much! We wanted to add much more like upgrades regarding potato variations and a collection of potatos but unfortunatelly we couldn't in the jam submission time, so we focused in trying to make it at least polished. Glad you liked!

We appreciate your comment! We ended up not planning scope and delivering gameplay so well since it's our first game jam (for most of us its actually the first game project at all). We too believe the game has a lot of flaws but a great potential to fulfill. Any future update we'll  certainly let you know!

Very cool and elaborated gameplay for the time limit! Congrats!

The art and tone of the texts are very polished! I liked that the stats affected the mouse visual aspect (at least I felt like it affected haha).

We're glad you liked it! I agree that difficulty is greater than what it should be. Also, thank you for the suggestions, we'll definitely consider your ideas to ajust difficulty!

Thank you very much! About the difficulty, we didn't have time to playtest as much as we wanted so it ended up harder than we imagined it.

Thanks! Our artist SAW MANKLER is the best! About the gameplay, we chose to disable horizontal movement while jumping exactly for the realistic feel as you said, but we didn't have too much time to playtest so I agree it feels clunky. About the input delay, movement has a stopping delay (to simulate inertia) but shouldn't have a starting movement delay, so its probably a bug. We also faced some FPS drop while testing but we didn't have time to solve it in the submission phase of the jam.

Very cozy beautiful game! Art and sound/music are professional level!

Just some things do add. My first impression is that I would float through the scene and not fall (I don't know exactly how balloons work, but I didn't expect the balloon ship to fall), and for me having to click up feels tiring after a while. Some enemies shoot too fast with no indicator that they are triggered (I had this problem with my game too), maybe if they also had a cannon, that start pointing to the player direction when in shoot range, it would be enough for the player to know they are in danger.

Apart from that congrats for the cool concept and for getting to finish it all in time alone!

We're glad you liked it! About the bug, we'll be checking it out, thanks for addressing it!

Very interesting idea!

The controls seem a bit unintuitive, maybe if down arrow could crouch too, and the character could change its sprite to a crounching sprite to give feedback to the player. Another thing, as the other jammer already commented, is this break from keys input to mouse input when interacting with a container of items, maybe there could also be a way to select items from a container using arrow keys and enter to avoid this break.

The fact that the alien has the items listed in a notebook page feels strange in context (since he is an alien) but it ends up being funny.

In my opinion this is a very good first submission, the game has some aspects to get better but in all its a complete game with a cool game loop idea (some variation would make it even better).

Very original idea, and very catchy gameplay. The audio and music are peak and the art style makes me think of Habbo Hotel. One thing, related to controls that I had a problem, is that sometimes when the guard is in the same position of the teen its hard to interact (It got me going up and down trying to make to interaction pop up appear).

Very cool concept! The music and art choices match the anxiety of not being caught.

Thank you! I'm curious to see your submission!

Thank you very much! We're glad you liked!

Very nice sprites and music! The ambience and movement remind me a little of Earthbound for the Snes. It got me curious about where the character is and what happened before the gameplay.
