use arrow keys to select an options, click X to select. 

Its not mouse friendly, but I think the top option is "Play" and the second is "Quit". When you click "Play" (or whatever the top option is), you'll be selected with three options which.... I think are save slots? its hard to tell (I read 0 japanese). 

pick one with X, click X some more, and game will start.

Nevermind, you need to shoot the lighter flowers.....

Currently stuck on Yarrow. Is there some way to get past the undodgable vine that clears the entire screen???????? I keep gettting killed by it but theres no way past it.
