this is good! the character and visual design are easily a highlight, bea is very cute and i love that she fights with a toothbrush. the sparks from it dragging along the ground was a good detail. the jumps feel a little floaty, its easy to overshoot, and while the double jump looks like it has an upward aerial attack that doesn't really seem to be the case in the boss fight, which seems like a missed opportunity. there also seems to be some kind of issue with either enemy hitboxes or the visual cues on bea's attack animation, as she's able to hit basic enemies from a distance that seems like it should be far outside her range before they've even noticed her. still, barring those nitpicks for polish this is a pretty good project! a great proof of concept for what could easily be expanded into something bigger.

is there a limit to the number of eggs syahata can hold at once? i managed to get up to 68 at one point and now i'm curious. i'd also like to see more done with the larvae and eggs/pregnancy in general. it seems fun.

i'd like it if there were a way to pick up healing items and use them later instead of using them immediately. i kept finding them when i didn't need them and it felt like a waste ^^;
