Great game, I don't mind the RNG at all, my only complaint is that restarting after being defeated is very slow. I mean the defeat animation, then spawning in with effects and all that. It looks great but having the ability to skip it would be nice.

Thank you for trying it. There is no obvious effect or any indication of scanning, just some additional text appearing. There is only one thing in the level that does something more than that when scanned. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do as much as I planned with this game.
