This has such a gorgeous art style!!!

This has such a gorgeous art style!!!

Nice use of the shifting reality theme and the spring theme! I really enjoyed the story and the gameplay was nice.

I really love how you are incorporating spring with the two different worlds in your game! You have created a nice addictive gameplay loop. I also enjoyed the little animation you created when the tree or mushroom is hit!

But unfortunately, the chopping was a bit too finicky.  I kept trying to chop and sometimes it would chop and other times nothing would happen. This made for a frustrating experience and so I never quite made it to the end of the game. I think with a bit more polish of the main chopping mechanic would make this game a lot more fun.

The game has a few minor bugs (donating more material than the UFO needs, UFO disappearing on mushroom day, occasional typos) but definitely not bad for a short game jam!

Thank you for your kind comment!

I don't think I want to increase the fairy's normal move speed as that makes it too hard to control and aim. If you hold SPACE while moving you can move very fast.  But even with that extra speed, you are right that there isn't much time to react, especially when the fruit first appears.

I'm thinking about adding a little warning icon indicating where the fruit will first fall from. That would give the player more time to react. Once the fruit is in-play I think there is enough reaction time as long as the fruit doesn't hit the sides of the mushroom.

Thanks again for taking the time to review my game! I hope you can reach your goal of 20!

This was a lot of fun to play! The levels were tricky but enjoyable!

I'm really bad at the kalimba part, but at least it doesn't seem to make a difference from what I can tell.

This was a creative take on the clicker game! It was cozy and relaxing

I love the creativity with the Spring theme and the variety you introduced to the gameplay. It's overall a very happy-feeling world.

I found the butterfly jumping section a bit frustrating though. Quite often, I found myself stuck in an infinite falling loop. It seems like the character gets closer and closer to the edge of the petal every time he respawns. It might be better to respawn the character in the center of the flower when he falls to prevent that from happening.  Hitting the reset key takes the character back pretty far...

But when I did finally make it through that part, I thought the ending was rewarding.

This is a very pretty game and very relaxing!
