Try using assets that have a similar art style but overall Great controls and Halloween atmosphere, the low sound music created a atmosphere filled with suspense suspense ^^

Yes our ideas were pretty similar, i made the ghosts avoid the player which i did in 4 if-then nests like if x position is more and y position is more etc. I consider myself to be good in pixel art although i didn't draw the main character to save time but it is very similar to my art style and thanks for noticing so many small details Wish you best of luck too!
