Dude, this game will be a MASSIVE success if done on 2D. Your talent for this is incredible. For 3D you will have a much tougher time finding massive success with this game.
The reason I say this is the completion is much steeper in 3D as opposed to 2D. Yes, 3D does have higher potential than 2D, but 2D for what you have made so far is the best option.
Just look at the game titled "house" which is receiving a lot of acclaim and attention. I will support you wherever you go, but 2D just seems so good!
